In spite of a professional life that encourages individualism, we have had the ability to interact and share our experiences which would then enrich all of us. This new age of globalization allows entrepreneurs and creatives to be a bridge across all cultures, trades, and continents. However, the mindset must be integrated into the work ethic in order to bridge individuals, trades and continents.

The cultural and human affluence found in Africa and the Afro-Caribbean countries ( such as Haiti, Dominican Republic, Cuba and Jamaica) is considerable throughout diverse occupations such as art, communication, and literature. Unfortunately, these assets have formidable potential that have yet to be exposed to the masses.

Moreover, uniting the talents of these diverse sectors through innovative projects is a tremendous responsibility that we would like to embrace by building bridges between the three continents dear to our heart: Africa (The Motherland), Europe and America.

Hence the concept of a triptych: three continents, three editions, three panels whose two outer panels close on the middle one.

Category (I) LEADERSHIP

To be eligible to participate in the A.L.A USA 2022 LEADERSHIP Award, you must be a project promoter from your home country or host country and be at least 18 years old.
Know exactly what your project is and always keep in mind the four pillars of a project: initiation, planning, execution, and closure.

Category (II) INSPIRING ROLE MODEL

To be eligible to participate in the INSPIRING ROLE MODEL Prize, you must be an independent professional (all professional levels are accepted) Or a legal entity: an LLC or Corporation

CONDITIONS & CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION

* To be eligible to participate in the A.L.A USA 2022 LEADERSHIP Prize, you must be a project promoter from your home country or host country and be at least 18 years old.

* Know exactly what your project is and always keep in mind the four pillars of a project: initiation, planning, execution, and closure.

* Evaluate each step carefully, ensuring that all the elements involved meet the project’s requirements and that each project takes into account the expectations of the target audience and needs identified.

* Fill in all required fields of the online form with your information. Candidates have until december 31, 2021, to submit their nominations and make their choice among the twenty-six (26) categories of fields that are proposed.

BENEFIT

The selected candidates will present their project to the assembly organized within the framework of Business Network (BN).

THE NOMINEES

The finalists are selected and nominated on the basis of well-defined criteria to compete for the A.L.A U.S.A 2022 LEADERSHIP Prize. These criteria will be revealed after the final selection.

VOTE

– Votes from the public: the online voting application will be activated after the selection of candidates.

– Public voting time period: electronic voting will begin on later.

– Distribution of votes:

50% – Public

(Based on popularity)

25% – Coordinator

(on the basis of compliance with the criteria)

25% – Jury

(based on the appraisal of the project).

RESULT

The winners will be known at the #GDL leaders ‘ gala, which will take place as usual in a beautiful setting in Orlando, Florida.

THE PRIZE & THE TROPHY

The « Leadership » Price is an award given for the excellence and creativity of the best project leader.

* Have a professional approach of excellent, inclusive and sustainable in terms of Community Development and promotion of employment in Europe or internationally.

* Submit a form online on the official website. Candidates have until december 31, 2022, to submit their nominations and make their choice among the twenty-five (25) categories of fields that are proposed.

The selected candidates will participate in the panel of inspiring entrepreneurs organized within the framework of Business Networking (B.N).
